Just a way to fill up some free time, a local company from Kampung Sungai Teraban, Kuala Belait, has now own its business premises. The company successfully produced crackers and biscuits as a 1 Village, 1 Product, 1K1P product.

From a hobby of making biscuits, it became the trigger to venture into the business field, that's what happened in establishing Syarikat Jaya NHSD. According to Awang Haji Md Daud bin Duraman, orders for crackers and biscuit products produced by his company have been increasing since receiving recognition as a 1K1P product. Orders for the products are received not only in Belait District, but also from outside the district.

Following the encouraging demand, the company decided to open a business premise in Kuala Belait. Apart from further increasing marketing, the company's premise also provides an opportunity for small businesses to showcase their products.

The quality and taste makes the company's crackers and biscuit products continue to be popular.  In addition, such efforts also support the Wawasan Brunei 2035 in strengthening the economy; opening up job opportunities and improving the quality life of the people.
